Shipping & Delivery Policy

(herein referred to as we, us, or our) promote, recommend & deliver regional dishes on our Web Platform www.tastes-of-states.com to cater to Users cravings for regional food specialities. Hence delivery of regional cuisines booked by you for delivery at your doorstep are subject to the below Shipping & Delivery Services conditions which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. You should understand that by ordering any of our Products or subscribing to one of our Services, you agree to be bound by our this Shipping & Delivery Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, Terms and conditions of Use, our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any of these terms, then please do not use the Website or the Platform.


To achieve our Platforms endeavours to promote, recommend & deliver regional dishes, we bring together Taste Makers (Restaurants, Catering Houses, Home cooks, Chefs & other food providers), take online orders, collect online payments and deliver the food at the doorstep of the User.  Hence, we do not own, cook, sell, on our own and/or do not control the Merchants or the related services provided in connection thereof. You understand that any order that you place shall be subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Policy including, but not limited to, product availability, delivery capacity and delivery location serviceability.


Our On Time Delivery is subject to Force Majeure conditions such as during rainy days, fire, earthquake, explosions, breakdown of transportation, breakdown of telecommunications, national emergency etc.

 

We  enable delivery of such orders at select localities of serviceable cities across India herein referred to as Delivery Services. The Platform Services and Delivery Services are collectively referred to as Services.

  

You may not be able to avail our Services if your delivery location is outside our current scope of Service. We will keep you informed of the same at the time of confirming your order booking. For this purpose, you will be required to share certain information with us, including but not limited to (i) your first and last name (ii) mobile number; and (iii) email address. It shall be your sole responsibility to bring any incorrect details to our attention.


You understand that the estimated delivery time quoted to you at the time of confirming the order is an approximate estimate and may vary. We will not be responsible for any delay in the delivery of your order.


You order will be only delivered to the address designated by you at the time of placing the order on the Platform. We reserve the right to cancel the order, in our sole discretion, in the event of any change to the place of delivery and you shall not be entitled to any refund for the same. Delivery in the event of change of the delivery location shall be at our sole discretion.


You shall undertake to provide adequate directions, information and authorisations to accept delivery. In the event of any failure to accept delivery, failure to deliver within the estimated time due to your failure to provide appropriate instructions, or authorizations, then such goods shall be deemed to have been delivered to you and all risk and responsibility in relation to such goods shall pass to you and you shall not be entitled to any refund for the same. Our decision in relation to this shall be final and binding.

 


Anyone at the delivery address who receives the delivery is conclusively presumed to be authorized to receive the delivery.  In cases in which you have designated an alternative receiver, such person shall accept the delivery under all of the same terms and conditions that would apply had you accepted the delivery yourself.

 


As we are providing services in the select areas /regions /cities in India, we have complied with applicable laws of India in making the Platform and its content available to you. In the event the Platform is accessed from outside India or outside our delivery zones, it shall be entirely at your risk. We make no representation that the Platform and its contents are available or otherwise suitable for use outside select areas /regions /cities. If you choose to access or use the Platform from or in locations outside select areas /regions /cities, you do so on your own and shall be responsible for the consequences and ensuring compliance of applicable laws, regulations, byelaws, licenses, registrations, permits, authorisations, rules and guidelines.


We reserve the sole right to cancel your order in the following circumstances:

a)    If the designated Delivery address falls outside the delivery zone offered by us;

b)    Failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking;

c)    Failure to deliver your order due to lack of information, direction or authorization from you at the time of delivery; or

d)    Unavailability of all the items ordered by you at the time of booking the order; or

e)    Failure due to reasons beyond our control or attributable to the Vendor.

f)    In respect of suspected fraud customers, if customer location is different than indicated, in case of suspect fraudulent activity.



It may not be possible for Us to deliver to some locations due to Force Majeure conditions . In such a case, we will inform you and arrangements for change in delivery address or cancellation can be made.


Any extension / increase in the Dispatch and/or Delivery time shall not be our responsibility.


 All Disputes related to Refund & Cancellation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of   Mumbai only.
